I think the desire to write can come from many sources; the desire to please, the desire to accomplish, the need for attention, and on occasion the desire to create. The desire to create is, in some fashion, always going to have something to do with every effort, it is the only real motivator. Its only when you get rid of all the hide and go seek nonsense with yourself and accept that, that you can begin to express creatively… so lets gun for ” on occasion”.
My present effort for this site is to provide an online storyboard style arrangement for the development of a novelette. The idea is early in its development with Textpattern, but has been a project for me for some time.The story itself is just beginning, and hasn’t as yet aquired a life of it’s own. I think all fiction needs to make that change to become a work of merit for it’s own sake.
