I’ve heard tell of mandates, and I have heard more than one mention the idea of a 49% mandate. The showing for Kerry meant that a lot of that exists. I also believe that someone, somewhere, for reasons that I don’t understand, voted for George Bush.
Neither the 49%, nor the 51%, can call themselves the be all and end all of anything. I think George Bush and friends startled a great many Americans to action over the last four years, both for and against.
The 49% Mandate.
It is now time to keep them honest, 51% are telling us that they are doing their best, and that their best is good.
For the difference of two percent, I think we have some right to question that.
